Study on the structural characteristics of the Yangdachengzi oil layer in the Quantou Formation, ZY block, central depression, Songliao Basin

The Songliao Basin is a large Mesozoic–Cenozoic continental basin with multiple sedimentary cycles. It has experienced the influence of multidirectional and different structural stresses in peripheral belt, resulting complex geological structure. clastic deposits at depression Quantou Formation shallow part basin, including Fuyu oil layer Yangdachengzi layer, are primary exploration development target. structure faults dominant factors controlling hydrocarbon accumulation upper member central Basin. In this study, we finely interpret three-dimensional third ZY block by integration well logging seismic data then analyze stratigraphic distribution fracture characteristic tectonic history layer. results show that monoclinic from southeast to northwest. four third-level units, Mofantun nose structure, Yumin Zhaoyuan western which form structure-lithostratigraphic trap zones study area, total 80 traps for been identified area about 58.06 km 2 . Faults highly developed dominated extensional-strike-slip faults. main fault direction mostly north–northeast, secondary north–northwest. activities determine formation mechanism evolution can be classified as early-stage, middle-stage, late-stage, long-term major type five bundles, it acts channel gas migration. addition, reservoir an above-generation below-storage model. This provides evidence model Formation.
